Welcome to our Tulbagh Mountain Cabins, where you’ll find a choice of unique self catering cabins for an authentic country experience in the Tulbagh Wine Valley. Our accommodation is located on a Private Residential Farm and Game Park at the foot of the Winterhook Mountains and a short drive from Tulbagh and only 1hour and 30 minutes from Cape Town.
Tulbagh Mountain Cabin
The cabin is comfortably furnished and offers accommodation for up to 5 guests. This log cabin consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an outside open air shower and outside bath area. The main bedroom with ensuite is in the loft area and is furnished with a queen-size bed. The second bedroom is on the ground floor and is equipped with 2 single beds. A further mezzanine level has a single bed which is accessed via a staircase just above of the living room.
The open-plan lounge with fireplace and fully fitted kitchen opens up onto a wraparound terrace offering uninterrupted views over the grazing fields where you will spot Springbok and Zebras and the stunning Winterhook Mountains. There is a thatched roof BBQ area for those late afternoons and evening braais.
A small river runs past both cabins which adds to the peace and tranquillity. The farm also offers two outdoor swimming pools for everyone’s enjoyment. The farm is Sectional Titled, so you will encounter neighbours living on the Park, walking their dogs and generally enjoying the splendour that is on offer.
Tulbagh Mountain Bungalow
The Bungalow offers accommodation for up to 4 guests (2 Adults and 2 children) and consists of 1 spacious bedroom with ensuite shower, toilet and basin which is open plan to the main bedroom, open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area and is beautifully furnished offering you everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Both the bedroom and the lounge have large stacking doors that open up from wall to wall onto a stunning terrace offering uninterrupted views over the Winterhook Mountains and the fields below where you will see springboks and zebras grazing.
There is a lovely BBQ area for guests to enjoy and a wood-burning fireplace for the winter evenings. The deck offers seating for dining and relaxing, and sun loungers for soaking up the sun.
