The Milnerton Golf Course is situated in Milnerton in the Western Cape, South Africa. It is nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Rietvlei River approximately 8 kilometres from Cape Town City Centre which makes it convenient for locals and visitors. This 18 hole course is a spectacular course with breathtaking views of Table Mountain and the natural beauty of the river and ocean all around it. The course is relatively flat but offers a challenging game, especially when the "Cape Doctor" blows straight through the course. There are not many trees to protect the course from the South Easter that is a regular visitor during the Summer months.
The Milnerton Golf Course has been host to many PGA events as well as the SA Open. The course started off as a 6 hole course but has since been transformed into a very popular 18 hole "links" course. The first 9 holes are played going out along the coast and the second 9 holes are played back towards the clubhouse.
The Club offers a putting green for those who want to spend some time practising while on holiday or after work. There is a well stocked Pro Shop with golf clubs and carts for hire. There are also caddies available.
