The Longridge Wine Estate was established in 1994 near Raithby between Somerset West and Stellenbosch on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain. Longridge is a 49 hectare farm with over 23 hectares of vineyards. The modern cellar is situated in the heart of the wine producing area in the Western Cape, the Stellenbosch region, and has a capacity of over 250,000 bottles. The almost perfect climate and geographical setting is ideal for growing a variety of grapes which have led to the creation of an outstanding range of wines. Every year the Longridge wines, which according to age-old tradition are only aged in oak barrels, change and provide a different taste experience.
