Where is Summer Place
Summer Place is a beachfront apartment complex situated 1 1/2 hours (100kms) from Durban and King Shaka Airport, and 15km from Margate . Shelly Beach is a seaside resort town on the south coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal, an area renowned for its warm waters, golden beaches and all-year round temperate climate.

Beautiful View
Summer Place boasts rolling green lawns leading down to its own beach access. Our unit, no 19, boasts an almost 180 degree sea view.

The unit
No 19 has a main en-suite bedroom and lounge with stunning view. The second bedroom has two single beds utilizing a second bathroom. No 19 can accommodate 4 people. The lounge is equipped with a television with some DStv channels available through the complex, and has a beautiful sea view. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave as well as conventional oven, and crockery and cutlery for four persons. Secure parking, reserved for no 19 and located at its entrance, is available.  Summer Place also offers a swimming pool equipped with a safety gate, jungle gym and play area for children, clean, well maintained braai facilities and a coin operated laundry. The unit is fully equipped - guests need only bring bath and beach towels.

Security
Summer Place complex is access controlled and has security guards on duty at night all year round and 24 hours a day during high season.

Shopping
Summer Place is situated within walking distance, from the Spar and also the Shelly Shopping Centre, which boasts most large department stores, restaurants and a cinema complex. The Hibiscus Mall is a mere 3 km away. The Wild Coast Casino is only a 35 minute drive away!

Swimming
The Kwa-Zulu Natal South coast boasts many beautiful beaches, some of which have Blue Flag status. You can swim in the complex pool or in front of Summer place in the sea (no lifeguard on duty) or utilize the tidal pool on the beach. The closest recognized swimming beach is St. Michaels, 4 km by road or a pleasant stroll along the beach. The beach in front of Summer Place has millions of perfect, tiny shells and lots of rock pools to be explored.

Small craft harbour
The Sonny/Sammy Evans Small Craft Harbour is situated next to Summer Place and offers fishing, scuba diving and pleasure trips to go whale and dolphin spotting.
