Sea Shells Cottage/Home is a gem waiting to be discovered.

This establishment has beautiful sea views and sunrises with ships and fishing boats passing by as well as whale watching in season.

There is a swimming pool with an entertainment area and covered veranda with Weber and braai for your convenience.

The separate fire pit is situated under shady fig trees and is ideal for lazy afternoons braaing.

• Room 1 has a Queen sized bed and is en-suite with a ceiling fan.
• Room 2 has 2 singles with a ceiling fan interleading from room 1.
• Room 3 has a double bed en-suite, with aircon.
• Room 4 has a double bed with aircon and separate bath shower and loo.
• Room 5 (alcove) has a double bed with a seaview

The open plan kitchen, dining room, and lounge have wonderful sea views which makes cooking an absolute pleasure.

Facilities

Sea Shells sleeps a maximum of 10 people and has DSTV, flat screen TV, fridge, bar fridge and deepfreeze.

There is the added luxury of an ice maker for your convenience.

Available is a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.

For one’s security, there are external beams as well as internal security, automated gates 24 hour security by Lazer.

A domestic helper is on hand if required at a nominal fee.

Southport main beach is a pristine Blue Flag beach with tidal pool, rock pools and safe swimming with lifeguards, it also boasts the Captains Anchor restaurant nestled under the Milkwood.trees.as well as braai facilities.

The little village of Southport is ably supplied with the following: a Total Garage, superette, post office, carwash as well as a dentist for any emergencies.

All the above are conveniently within a 5 minute walk or 2 minute drive from Sea Shells Cottage.

Activities

Ski boat charters and scuba diving can be arranged at Shelly Beach approx. 20 min away, here you will be fishing on the famous Protea Banks, where tuna in particular abound.

Great shore fishing all year round, with the added bonus of the possible arrival of the greatest Shoal on Earth, the Sardine Run. If one is fortunate to experience this phenomenon it is a sight never to be forgotten.

Winter is also the time when the shad season and whale watching are in full swing with various shad spots on our doorsteps .The whale watching is an added bonus and can be viewed from our cottage verandah.

Oribi Gorge and Lake Eland have many adventure sports such as zip lining, mountain biking, The Swing, good birding, game viewing, hiking and a lot more. The Wild Coast Sun is situated approximately 50 kms away with a water park, golf course and gambling for the gambler in you.

For the surfing fraternity Sunwich Port is a great surfing spot and good food is to be had on Orca Deck 5 min drive away.

Port Shepstone Country Club has the award winning golf course plus bowls and a tasty menu with live music 15 minutes’ drive away.

Fresh sushi available from the Harbour View Spar only 15 minutes drive away.

Shelly Centre and the South Coast Mall are approx 20 mins away for movies, shopping,restaurants, and entertainment.
