SUMMARY:

Sand and Sea is located 250 meters from Salt Rock main bathing beach in a quiet leafy suburb. We are approximately 50km from Durban and 25km from King Shaka International airport. It is ideal for both the leisure and corporate traveler.

Salt Rock beach is perfect for bathing and has lifeguards on duty as well as shark net protection. The tidal pool is only 600m away. Our beach and coastline is ideal for all water sports including surfing, snorkeling, sea kayak, rock and deep-sea angling or even just swimming and sun bathing. The area is ideal for people that enjoy the outdoors and like to run, walk and cycle. The beach setting has beautiful sunrises and sunsets and one can pack a picnic hamper or sip a cocktail or early morning coffee whilst enjoying the sun coming up or going down.

We have numerous shopping malls in Salt Rock and Ballito, the closest being Mount Richmore which is 3km away. Both Salt Rock and Ballito have many restaurants and bars for you to choose from if you want to enjoy the nightlife.

Holla Trails nearby offers mountain bike trails as well as trail runs. Sugar Rush Park offers loads of fun and entertainment for the family as well as Flag Farm.

Salt Rock Country club is within walking distance and offers Padel and Squash.

There are also four great golf courses in the area for golf enthusiasts. Including Umhlali,Simbithi, Princes Grant and Zimbali Country club.
