Salty-Crax Beach Cottage

This is a quiet beautiful area of Haga-Haga. A newly built Self-catering accommodation, which sleeps up to 10 people comfortably. 

It has 5 bedrooms, 4 of which have double beds, and one room with a single bed and a double bunk bed. There is also a camp cot available if needed. All bedrooms are equipped with side tables, dressing tables and cupboard. 

There is one full bathroom and one other with a shower, basin and toilet. Bathrooms are large with plenty of space. There is a large Hot and cold outside shower. 

The large open plan kitchen/ dining room is great for entertaining, this opens up onto the veranda which has a built in braai. Off the veranda are beautiful views of the sea and natural vegetation where you can often hear the fish eagles calling.

The kitchen is equipped with all modern amenities, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and electric stove.  There is an extra fridge/freezer in the Garage, along with a washing machine for your convenience. There are two Colour TV sets with DVD players. 

The cottage is serviced daily by our housekeeper (included in rate) All bed linen is provided, please bring your own towels and swimming towels.

The house is child and elderly friendly with minimal steps and an onsite sandpit for the kids. Your pets are most welcome as they are a part of the family but we ask that they do not soil or damage the cottage.

Haga-Haga is a bustling little village approximately 1km away, across the main beach. (A 4x4 will be needed to cross the beach if you wish to drive)  From East London it is approximately 70km. 25km off the N2, 16km on a dirt road.

There is a beautiful main beach approximately 5 minute walk away, which has a safe lagoon enjoyed by both the young and old.  There are tidal rock pools and great fishing spots nearby. 

There are a number of wonderful walks with many different flower and bird species. For the more energetic there are tennis courts, horse riding, 4 wheeler trails, a 9 hole mashie golf course and air flips. All within a 5km radius.

The Hotel is a great place to relax with a drink and a well prepared meal. 

"Ninki Noo's" is a quaint little pub nearby, a good place to unwind and catch up with the locals.

Oppie Plaas, is a quiet restaurant where a good steak can be found.

There is a shop for your convenience, which sells all day to day essentials.

A library and museum is available.
