The house is situated on a ridge and enjoys the early morning sun as well as amazing sunsets over the mountains. At the Inkungu Lodge which is situated within the complex there is a restaurant as well as a rim flow pool.

Accommodation

Champagne Berg Home has an open plan lounge with stacking doors that open onto a lovely veranda so you can enjoy the breathtaking views whilst inside the lounge & kitchen areas. The lounge has a fully fitted bar with a bar fridge & seating for 6. A great place to socialise & play board games!
 
The house has 2 bedroom wings.

The en-suite bedroom has a king size extra length bed fitted with crisp 100% percale linen, has built-in cupboards & a safe. There is also a Jacuzzi bath which has a stunning view. The main bedroom is also air conditioned.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom two single beds, all of which have crisp 100% cotton percale linen & towels. A modern bathroom is adjacent to the 2 bedrooms. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans.
 
For extra accommodation there is a sleeper couch in the lounge.

Out & About

Champagne Berg Home makes a perfect base from which to take day trips.

On our doorstep we have the Drakensberg Brewery, a Chocolate shop - chocs made locally in the berg, Hillbillys which stocks all kinds of wonderful frozen meals, meat from the Dargle area, frozen breads, berg cheeses & yoghurts & much more to choose from! The Drakensberg Boys Choir school is close by as well as helicopter flips onto the top of a mountain with a stop on the mountain with some bubbly included!, catch & release fishing in the dam in the complex. The Southern Sun nearby has a fun zipline which travels through the treetops. The Falcon ridge raptor displays over weekends are a must to visit. There are also many restaurants to visit close by. A little further away there is the beautiful Cathedral Peak wine farm to visit & stay for lunch & to test the wines.

The National Parks Monks Cowl which is 10 mins away into the mountains has many hiking trails to choose from.
