Castillo Rio offers guests a choice of lovely bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodations with garden and river views in Gonubie, approximately 2.5 km from Gonubie Beach. We also offer picnics in our manicured gardens at additional costs. We have canoes on site too, for the guests who wish to go for a river ride. We have incredible bird life, often hear and see the fish eagles and crowned eagles to name a few.

The multi-storey guesthouse has family and double rooms furnished with comfortable double beds and private bathrooms with showers and toilets. All rooms feature a Smart TV, Wi-Fi, a bar fridge, a microwave, and tea and coffee facilities and open onto balconies or patios with picturesque views (the sunrises and sunsets are incredible) We have a total of 5 rooms, 3 of the rooms have their own private bathroom, but room 2 (the family suit) has two bedrooms, with a shared bathroom. Ideal for a family of 4.

We are situated right on the Gonubie River. There is an absolute feeling of serenity all around you when you are here. Great to unwind and relax. 

Take a dive into our sparkling pool or play a bit of ping pong in our games room. Braai out on the Deck with an incredible view. (braai packs at additional costs and prior arrangement)
