Standard Check-In Time: 14:00 – 20:00
The cabin is rented as a private, full-unit property. As our hostess travels from town to meet guests, arrivals must take place within the standard check-in window.

Late Check-In Fees:
Arrivals outside standard hours are only permitted if arranged in writing and agreed to at least one calendar day prior to arrival. Approved late check-ins are subject to the following cash-on-arrival fees:
20:00 – 21:00: R250
21:00 – 23:00: R500
Late check-in after 23:00 is not permitted under any circumstances.

Conditions:
No late arrivals will be accommodated without prior written agreement.
Failure to arrive within the agreed check-in time may result in denied check-in.
In such cases, the booking will be treated as a no-show, and the full booking amount remains payable and non-refundable, irrespective of actual arrival or duration of stay.
In the event of a no-show, the guest may contact the hostess after 08:00 the following morning to arrange a new check-in time at a time confirmed by the hostess.

Check-out: before 09:00.
The minimum duration of stay is two to seven nights depending on the time of year.
The owner's private two-seater kayak is available free of charge for the exclusive use of guests worth R210 per day!

The deposit is non-refundable, with the exception of circumstances provided for in the Consumer Protection Act.

As response to your enquiry you will receive an accommodation offer with terms of agreement document by e-mail that you should sign and submit together with your proof of payment.
A 50% deposit is required to make the accommodation offer a valid reservation. Payment is done by EFT (electronic funds transfer) - credit cards are not accepted.
Any banking costs resulting from the payment method such as a cash deposit should be added to the amount paid.
The accommodation offer becomes a valid reservation only if we receive your EFT proof of payment as well as the signed terms of agreement before the indicated deadline.
The balance of the total amount due is payable 30 days before check-in. If the booking is done less than 30 days before check-in you have to pay the full amount at the time of booking.

Access will only be granted after the balance of the full payment has been received.
No smoking inside the log cabin. No camping or pets allowed.
Maximum six guests allowed.
Other people shall be considered and respected in all regards and silence after 22:00.
Contact particulars of the hostess will be provided after proof of payment of the balance of the full amount due has been received. Contact the hostess two days prior to check-in to confirm the anticipated time of arrival. Give the hostess at least three hours prior notice if the planned arrival time has changed.
To avoid waiting at the gate, phone (do not SMS) the hostess 30 minutes before arrival to obtain access.
At Rest is used at your own risk. The Proprietor, its agents and employees ("the Proprietor") shall not be held liable for any claims of whatever nature including, but not limited to theft, injury, loss or damage of whatever nature, and the guests hereby waive any such claims against the Proprietor, unless such claims arise from the gross negligence of the Proprietor.
