Salt Rock is an ideal beach holiday destination.  Only 40mins from Durban and 15mins from King Shaka international airport.  Our cottage is situated only 200meters from Salt Rock main swimming beach.  From the cottage it is an easy walk along a path through a park directly to the beach.  Salt Rock main beach has lifeguards on duty daily. There is also a tidal pool a short walk from the main beach for safer swimming for young children.

This 5 bedroom open plan character cottage with upstairs loft area is great for entertaining and its relaxed, comfortable feel makes it an ideal getaway for large families or groups of friends.  It is fully furnished with all the necessary kitchen appliances, cutlery and crockery.  Linen is provided in all the rooms as well as bath towels.  Beach towels are not provided.  There is a daily cleaning service at an additional charge should guests require this (to be arranged prior to arrival)

The cottage opens up to a wooden deck and covered area with pool which is a perfect spot for braaing or just enjoying afternoon sundowners.  A convenience store and many restaurants are situated within 1 km radius of the cottage and if you need to stock up on supplies for a long stay, there is SALT ROCK shopping centre only 3kms away or Ballito with its numerous restaurants and major shopping malls just 8kms away. For the golf enthusiast there are several signature golf courses on the Dolphin Coast which will test anyone’s golfing abilities!
